Thanks for all you great comments. this new SA result is was actually done in July. I was so tired i did not post the results. but since this may motivate others who would like to try Ayurveda for Azoospermia i will post it.
Sperm Count : 18 Million/ML (wow!! the WHO normal standard is more that 20 Million/Ml)
A few rapid linears have come - 2 % to be exact!! OK. but still 98% Immortile. Grr.. so .. yeah. i know i am supposed to be thrilled but OK.. so wheres the baby!! (sorry people.. i'm so tired of hoping)
Can some one who knows tell me what the minimum SA result for an IUI? i just dont want to go through the IVF or ICSI road. too stressful..

New Results of the Semen Analysis Test !!
Hi All
Did a Semen Analysis Test yesterday. The sperm count has risen to 14 ML!! Yipee... Still the quality of the sperms is not very good though... Anyway.. what a slow and painful process this is. Still taking Ayurveda treatment. Met the Dr. yesterday. She gave herbal medicine for another two months.

Expressing my fears and feelings
I was googling about infertility (Something I always do - maybe I’m obsessed! So What?). Anyway my feelings are MY FEELINGS. I believe I have the right to express it if I want to. The following article made me relate to the way I feel. It made me think 'oh God. Will i be telling this in a few years time?', 'Please... don't make this happen to me. Please make me pregnant. Please ..'. I may not be the one who is infertile, but I have to suffer the consequnces of my husband being so.

Infertility Anguish
did another sperm analysis test. this time the count had gone down to 1.2 Million. The Dr said it could be stress, not sticking to the diet etc. Hmmm... infertility anguish. i suppose this is what it is.

Details of the Dr we went to
The Dr we went to is:
Dr. Dayani Siriwardane, Osuki Ayurveda, No 117/1, Buthgamuwa Road, Kalapaluwawa, Rajagiriya, Sri Lanka. Tel : + 94 (0)114 906 962 Fax : + 94 (0)112 792 394
We’ve been going to her only for some months now but as I see there are 3 main components in the treatment.
1.Herbal powder is given. It has to be mixed in hot water and taken every morning and night. Extra vitamin capsules are also given.
2.Special diet includes the following:
1.Sour fruits (Lime, Orange etc) every day,
2.Quail (a bird) Eggs
3.Mung Dhal (soaked and later with roots coming out)
4.Cardiospermum halicacabum (Scientific Name) herb juice extract (can take the leaves and grind in a grinder and mix with cooked rice and eat as a porridge)
5.Quail meat
6.Ghee
7.Phaseolus mungo (Scientific Name) - black gram mixed food – Found in many Indian food.
8.Vegetables, green leaves
AVOID Artificial Food, cooking Garlic with food, cooking tomatoes with food.
(Used the net to find the Scientific Names !!!)
3.Every week DH has to go to the clinic to get a massage on the head. They use herbs and special oils to massage him. The Dr said that is to stimulate the pituitary glands. They also sometimes make him sit and stand on a ‘special magnet’ (that’s what they call it) and it vibrates.
We see the Dr. every month and she reviews the treatment.
So that’s what happened. Before we went to her (and for the last 5 years) DH’s sperm count was always zero. After the treatment he was asked to take the sperm analysis test and it was 7.9 ML. I was so thrilled. He has 100% abnormal sperms unfortunately. We’ll have to continue the treatment to see how it goes.

Azoospermia Cure

Married 5 years. My husband suffers from Azoospermia. We went to several doctors with no results.
3 months ago we went to an Ayurveda Dr in Colombo, Sri Lanka and there is obvious improvement. She gave my husband medicine and instructions for a special diet. Sperm count from ZERO to 7.9 ML is a HUGE change.
Please go for Ayurveda treatement if you have Azzospermia.
